Why does my camper need a negative COVID-19 test to go to camp?
The simple answer is so that your camper can do their part in helping protect the health of those around them.
Although COVID-19 infections are less likely to result in severe illness or have severe consequences, the virus still remains very common. COVID-19 can still pose a large threat to the older adults, young children, and people with pre-existing medical conditions in our community.
As the nurses for DCCYC this year, our goal is to help care for the health and safety of all who come and join us this year. We want your campers to be able to have fun with their friends, enjoy their time at camp, and most importantly, develop or grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. To do that, we need your help in preventing any illnesses being brought to DCCYC.
Thank you for your part in helping protect all those coming to DCCYC this year!
